The home fire detection essentials kit consists of two optical smoke alarms and one heat alarm from the UltraFire wireless interlink range. UltraFire UB1RF series alarms are battery powered and interconnect by radio frequency to eliminate the need for any wiring. Smoke alarms are suitable for living areas such as the lounge or bedroom, as well as hallways and landings. The heat alarm is ideal for the kitchen where normal cooking fumes can cause false activations in a smoke alarm. This starter kit gives you the essential fire protection you need and can be added to at any time with additional RF alarms from the same range.

Features and benefits
- Ideal for installation throughout the home. Smoke alarm: Living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, landings, near (but not in) the kitchen. Heat alarm: Kitchens, garages, unconverted loft spaces.
- If one alarm detects smoke or fire, all alarms in the system are triggered. Interlink up to 50 UltraFire UB1RF series alarms in the same system. Simple interlinking procedure – eliminates neighbour system interference. Indoor RF range of 35m (100m outdoors).
- Battery powered – 2 x AA alkaline batteries included for each alarm. Large and easy to push test & hush buttons on all alarms. Fixings supplied per alarm: 2 x screws and 2 x rawl plugs.
- CE marked, certified and Kitemarked. Smoke alarm: certified to BS EN 14604: 2005. Heat alarm: certified to BS 5446-2. Suitable for installations complying to BS 5839-6: 2019 Grade F2.
