Replacement Heat Alarm for BRK 690MBX - easichange SBBRKHE

The SBBRKHE easichange kit replaces the discontinued BRK 690MBX heat alarm and fits onto your existing BRK twist-fit alarm baseplate so there's no need for any DIY or an electrician. The kit consists of the replacement heat alarm head with pre-connected easichange adaptor, an easichange removal tool, a quick change guide, and the full alarm manual.

The SBBRKHE is a mains powered heat alarm with a replaceable 9V alkaline backup battery like the 690MBX that it replaces. Heat alarms detect the temperature of the room they're in and activate when it gets abnormally hot, typically from 55°C. They are designed for rooms like kitchens and garages where steam, fumes, and dust are expected to cause false activations in smoke alarms. Featuring a hardwire interlink, compatible easichange alarms communicate with each other over the same wiring as your old BRK alarms, so that all will sound the alarm if one detects a fire.
