washes off with heavy rain !

Used this to paint a previously painted concrete front step which was starting to look a bit shabby. I last painted it two years ago with a tile red paint i had picked up from maxwells and it had lasted quite well. I took advantage of the recent warm weather and prepared the step by brushing it down with a wire brush and then wiping it all down with white spirit. Two coats of the ronseal black paint was applied and I was happy with the look. A week later we had some heavy rain and it has started to wash the paint off!.. maybe buy this if you live in california but not suitable for the UK!
Navy - not black

I bought this to go with my grey front door but it turned out to be navy. 2 coats later and no change. Easy to apply and covers but still not black
NOT suitable for all surfaces

Purchased this to paint doorstep, followed instructions to the letter. It went on well, and is wearing off just as easily:-( This is obviously not suitable for quarry tiles, as was my project. Other makes say not suitable for quarry tiles, but as this one did not and stated suitable for multiple surfaces so thought it would be ok. NOT! Going to strip and try a primer/undercoat first, but none list as suitable for quarry tiles etc, so could be an expensive fact finding mission.
The test will be how long it lasts

This paint went on well, I only did one coat and it looks fine. The test will be how long it lasts before I have to repainted the step
Excellent - does what it says!
