I used this paint on the garage floor and at first I was very happy with it. I put down two coats; it was very easy to use, and it looks great. A week later I dropped a piece of 9mm chipboard, about the size of a piece of A4 paper, and it went straight through the paint leaving a scrape about an inch long. I really wouldn't call it Diamond Hard, and considering how expensive it was I was really disappointed. I wish I'd just used some bog-standard masonry paint.

Bought this to re-cover the painted garage floor. Three coats. Easy to apply, good coverage, simple to clean brushes and rollers. Not sure how hard wearing it will be though. Bits already flaking off after a month.

Not very happy

I used this on my studio floor 3 years ago. It was previously painted with an oil based paint and the only reason I chose to repaint was to change the colour from a hideous rust. I chose the Ronseal being reassured it would adhere by the team at Ronseal, but it began flaking off very quickly.I was in contact with them and even sent samples of the paint flakes at their request and was given a replacement tin. As the room was being used util recently I have only just repainted it with that tin, following their personalized instructions... (nothing new from the original really). I must be a complete fool to do it again and really resent the time it's taken my. Its already coming off in places. I will also never use water based paint on this floor again and the only good thing I can say about it is , it's a lovely colour. Don't buy it!

Just finished doing my garage!

Just finished doing my garage floor with this paint, and I was very pleased with it. I didn't see the problem with the colour separating in the tin, as earlier customer feedback states below. The paint went on well, and covers easily, and I am very pleased with the finished texture. Would recommend.
