Not quite what it says on the tin

Used this to paint over mostly cream and some terracotta coloured tiles in my kitchen using the white high gloss. I tried some on a spare tile first and it did a great job with
the tile horizontal on the worktop. However if you're painting tiles on the wall...whichlets be fair most people are.. then it is not a once product. The paint will drip if you paint it on vertical tiles. I ended up putting on 3-4 thin coats. It has made a nice finish with few brush marks...but I dread to think what It would have looked liked if I'd try to do it all in one coat. Hence the 3 out of 5 stars

Wish I had ignored all the good reviews on here! The paint is shocking! I used a thin layer but still looked terrible. What a waste of money

I have used this paint before. The reason was to brighten up the kitchen as the tiles were a bad shade of green & brown. First we used pale blue, but since we have gone over that with brilliant white. You have to be quick don't apply too much paint, do a tile at a time and go back to ensure of any sagging or runs before it starts setting. It dries quite quickly the vapours are quite strong so keep ventilated but it does dry to a very hard finish.
Does the job

Changed grim beige and brown kitchen tiles into gleaming white tiles. Feel like we have a completely new, brighter kitchen - photos don't do it justice but you get the idea. Needed 3 applications though to make it look really good but the tiles were dark to begin with. It is sticky to work with, can be hard to wipe up any accidental drips and dries quite quickly but it goes on easily, cover your roller /paint brush with clingfilm between coats and you will be fine. Very pleased with the results - definitely recommend this product.

Tip: super clean and dry your tiles first. apply one at a time carefully and keep going back to save drips/runs. Much better than simple gloss paint which I've done in the past. Best to spend the money on this stuff and get great results
