Although slightly tongue in cheek, it does, and does it well. Suggest you note that unless you are painting over you will need to match colour.

Not the colour it says on the tin

Don't be deceived by the colour description because after opeing it I found it to be a 'brick/red/orange' colour and nothing like shown on the label. I complained to the manufacturers and they told me it was intended to be painted, varnished or stained to match the colour you want. It mentions this but doesn't say it has to be. I wanted it to match my beech coloured kitchen units and the label matched perfectly but sadly 'not what it says on the tin' from that point of view. Have since read a few reviews on several sites and others have experienced the same reason for complaining, regretfully I didn't do that before purchasing

As stated in another review, this is Antique Pine, which is more orange than light beige, but it sticks, sands smooth and dries much harder than other wood fillers.

I've used it for everything from floor boards to reshaping the edges of wood doors (again, antique pine, not clear pine) and it really holds up.

If painting, plan to prime twice (the orange can be bright when painted white). If staining, you might want to use a sanding sealer, as any filler will absorb the stain more than the surrounding wood (like end-grain). If sealing a clear-coat, just put it on.
