No1 ryobi fan man - 11 months ago

Just completed drilling 104 holes 8mm dia over the last 2 days into concrete pillars on 2 battery charges, what a piece of kit, just purchased the reciprocating saw using same batteries and own corded strimmer, all brilliant tools.

Good value. Intrigued by the one-system. When finances allow I plan to buy other Ryobi tools.

Bought this because the charger for my old (NiCd) Ryobi had finally failed and the charger for the new Li-ion drill does both. Given the cost of replacement charger, the new drill cost me only £15 (Nice one, Ryobi Tech Support!). I'm sure the new drill will be just as reliable as the old one, but new (super)charger is certainly better designed and does the job.
PS: B&Q website slightly misleading - drill comes with its own charger

Broke after one day

Bought for basic household jobs only, but broke on the first day after putting normal raw plugs into wall. The battery was also faulty as it would not release from the drill. Our house is pretty new so the walls are pretty thin, so very disappointed, therefore I can't give it more than one star. I returned it the next day and bought a Makita drill instead.
