• Which Planter is This Self-Watering Kit Compatible with? The VegTrug Self-Watering Kit is designed to fit the Medium Classic Planter which allows you to grow fresh fruit and vegetables at home. The reservoir fits snuggly at the bottom of your VegTrug Planter, under the compost, and continuously supplies water to your plants and produce.
• How Does This Reservoir Work? The VegTrug reservoir sits at the bottom of your VegTrug Classic Medium, under the compost. The water is then drawn from the reservoir up - directly into the plant roots. This allows for the best results, as the crops are able to draw water at their own pace, and therefore eliminates the risk of over-watering.
• Self-Watering for Days at a Time With the VegTrug Self-Watering Kit, your plants and produce will be watered for days at a time, making this kit useful for people with limited mobility, or for those who require extra support. All you'll need to do is simply refill the reservoir once all the water has been used up.
• Water-Level Indicator To make things even easier the VegTrug Self-Watering kit features a water level indicator to tell you when it's time to refill it, so that it can carry on doing its job. A connected funnel sits above the soil for you to top up water or fertiliser.
