My Eastern adventure courtesy of B & Q

Have just done the finishing touches to my gorgeous little hide away - my she shed aka The Seraglio! My husband and sons put this up for me on my birthday! I had fun painting the windows and doing all the decorating and making quilts and pillows for the inside from old saris.
So delighted with my purchase. Great value for the price, it was, according to my husband, very easy to construct. The only downside was the rainfall of biblical proportions (it was Good Friday after all) when we tried to put it up. which was not the fault of B& Q!!
I love it, the cats love it and look forward to many happy hours in there reading, relaxing and scoffing the odd chocolate or two!!
If you are looking for a small summerhouse for the garden, I heartily recommend this. I did a lot of research and this was definitely the best value for the price!!!
Just what I wanted

Ny son and I put the construction together in about 4 hours I glazed the windows with the toughend glass the next day I don't like the door catch so that will be changed to stop thieves. I wish I had known in advance that, although the size is 7'x5' , the whole thing comes in a flat pack and can all be carried through any house door. As I have an enclosed garden I wasn't looking forward to the lift over a ten foot wall All came right in the end Really pleased with my purchase
Important!

This is the second Lumley I've bought so I must like them. This one I paid the extra for safety glass for a rented property. It's a nice little summer house and easy to erect on your own if you're an experienced DIYer... The thing to remember is to HANG THE DOORS before fixing the roof. Make sure the doors hang straight and close, adjust the gable positions to square up if necessary then with the doors closed fix the roof boards. If you leave the doors til last you'll spend ages trimming them to fit...
GOOD PRICE, NICE BARGAIN SUMMER HOUSE

I bought this to replace my old shed. Much nicer to sit out in. There were a few hiccups with delivery, but they were soon ironed out. Only problem was one of the panes of glass in the pack had a corner off it.
Disappointed

Disappointed with quality of this product. Screws sticking through framework which does not align with edge of panels so awkward to fix door which do not meet as expected.cheap board for roof. But does look nice painted.
