Features and benefits
Non-structural flooring boards for creating a new floor over existing flooring
- The long sides should be laid at 90 degrees to the joists & the ends should always meet on a joist. Floor board joints should be staggered for greater strength
- Fix panels in place with screws. Each screw should be countersunk & a pilot hole drilled as this makes fixing the boards easier & takes the heads of the screws below the level of the floor
- Do not be tempted to join boards between joists as they will soon sag & cause a weak spot in the floor. We recommend using screws rather than nails as excessive hammering could disrupt plasterboard below

Exactly what we needed and good price

We bought these to board part of the loft and they were ideal. Easy to cut and fit together. Reasonable price too.
Are they imperial or metric?
Confused and unhappy - 21 days ago
Product quality is fine however they are 1220mm (48inches) in length which doesn't work for 600mm centres. Why not offer 2 sizes. I'll now have to cut each board to fit or return.
Solid and easy
Hog13 - 1 month ago
I bought two packs to create a small raised platform within an outdoor storage space.
The boards are solid and as other reviews have mentioned the T&G do chip easily so I would pick up in store to avoid anything broken if being delivered.
I would not recommend using a handsaw to cut these to size as the particle board is rather dense. Unless you're prepared to work out to achieve that perfect cut.
Otherwise pleased with the purchase and would recommend the product to anyone who needs to put in a floor somewhere.
