Strong staple gun
Sewnonstop - 10 months ago
I bought this staple gun to attach fabric to wood. Worked perfectly, especially when it needed to go through several layers of pleated fabric. B&Q universal staples do not fit this gun. Make sure you buy the correct size from elsewhere. The staple size is on the packaging, take note before discarding.

This stapler has an unanticipated problem. When using it on a vertical plane I fired a staple into the wood and released the handle without a second thought. Unfortunately as you release it your hand slides upwards along the handle. This resulted in the skin between my thumb and my forefinger being trapped in the small gap where the handle meets the body of the stapler. It almost broke the skin. I won't make that mistake again.
Apart from that it is an excellent stapler at an extremely attractive price. It does what you want it to do effortlessly as you don't need to be a body builder to operate the handle. Loading the staples is very easy,, far,far better than my old one.
Good stapler for the price

Worked fine for about 2000 staples then getting 9 misfires out of 10. Eventually figured out as someone else said that the blade was not lifting high enough to allow the next staple slide forward. Took it apart and filed about 1mm off the bottom of the blade. Working perfectly again!
Also you can get cheap staples online that work perfectly. Will post details later if I can find them.
