The Starlight Beds Economy Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress is a fantastic entry level hybrid mattress. This mattress is built around the 13.5 gauge German Engineered Open Coil spring unit. Surrounding the springs are layers of recycled insulating pads. Above the pad is a polyester comfort layer complimented by a British Manufactured Memory Foam layer. The sleep surface is our in-house quilted wavy Cooltouch fabric designed to maximise your comfort. This is a single-sided mattress meaning no flipping needed.

Very strong chemical smell for the first few days
It's a budget mattress so my expectations were low but one thing I didn't expect was the smell. After unpacking it from the box in which it was rolled up it hit me hard. If you're thinking of getting it, consider that it will need to air for at least 3-4 days in the garage or even outside. After the smell is gone, it's alright but I've never had any other mattress that came unusable from the begining.
