Sandstone Sealer Satin Finish is a professional sealant for porous external natural surfaces. The safe formula is a topcoat protective sealer that creates a durable, clear satin finish. Essential Sandstone Sealer Satin Finish is quick-drying and easy to apply. It provides high-quality protection that prevents water-based stains and general grime & dirt from penetrating into the surface, making it easier to clean and maintain.
Clean sealed areas with a mild, ph neutral cleaner or a very low concentration of our outdoor cleaner range. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents as this can have a negative effect on the treated surface. Sandstone Sealer Satin Finish is not recommended for use on highly polished stone & ceramic glazed surfaces.

Features and benefits
Importantly, remove any loose debris from the work surface and ensure you have adequate safety wear, i.e. gloves, suitable protective eyewear, face mask & clothing.
Leave the surface for a minimum of 72 hours with clear and dry weather to ensure the surface is completely dry and ready to be sealed.
Apply Sandstone Sealer Satin Finish thinly and evenly with a low-pressure sprayer, micro-fibre mop, paintbrush or soft cloth. Take care not to leave application marks or allow the product to puddle on the surface. Do not dilute.
Allow 45-60 minutes drying time before applying the second coat, repeating the same process; apply the product in the opposite direction to help to achieve an even consistent finish. If necessary, more coats can be applied to achieve the desired “gloss” finish.
Please Note: Essential Sandstone Sealer Satin Finish may change the colour/appearance of some surfaces – always try the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use. Surfaces that are not to be sealed should be protected with masking material.

- Our formulation of Sandstone Sealer with Satin finish is a high performance, high quality product intended mainly for use on quality natural sandstone surfaces.
- The product is however versatile, able for use on a range of hard, porous surfaces such as slate and limestone. Can be used both internally and externally.
- Provides a beautiful satin finish which is not only attractive but hard-wearing and works to intensify the natural colours of the stone. Apply more coats where you would like to achieve a glossy finish.
- The sealer also offers a high quality stain protection against unsightly horrors like green growth, moss, algae, lichens and even oil spills.
- Average 4-6sq metres per litre on textured and riven surfaces. Up to 15sq metres per litre on smooth, honed or polished surfaces. Coverage will vary depending on surface porosity.
- *Please note this product is not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid & light grey) sandstone.
