Couldn't be simpler.
Originally I was intending to buy just the tap inserts, but I noticed the whole valve insert with the turn top were actually slightly cheaper and more easy to install. So I thought I would give it a go, and believe me they were so simple to fit I almost couldn't believe it. Just take out the old ones and thread in the new ones, that's it ! , of course turn of the water supply first, and because I don't have a water tank, there is no pressure coming out of the taps even with the valves removed.

Please check your shelf prices
Taps were ok, fitted them easily and they work well. Had a bit of a problem purchasing them. Two different sized tap heads on the shelf. I bought the smaller one because it matched what I had taken off. The price on the shelf said £9.50 The larger one appeared to be £12.50 At the counter I was charged £12.50 That was checked against the computer and that was the price. So B&Q, please check your pricing on the shelves please. Not the first time this has happened.
