Cartridge & tape guns
Cartridge guns, also known as sealant guns or caulking guns, are used to easily apply products such as sealant or caulk from a tube. The adhesive or other material is mounted inside the gun, the metal sprung loaded rod is then adjusted to apply pressure on the end of the tube. Once the product being applied is in place, the trigger is pressed to slowly release a bead of sealant from the tube. Mortar guns work in the same way but are much larger and typically used in brick laying.
