Purchased this item in Jan 2017, used it once, now it does not work at all. Now out of guarantee, so £30 for 1 charge!

Charged a 60 amp battery which would not start the car in 8.5 hrs on 4amp setting. Only downside is I have to charge in the house and the fan is quite noisy.
Reliable charging just when you need it.

This charger was bought to resolve a gel battery problem due to infrequent use. The charger worked first time and although it took a few hours, it got the battery back to a stable position. It will be very useful in the Winter when the battery loses its charge relatively easily. Just hook it up and leave it to re-charge! Sorted!

Originally chose this as it had variable charge rates, however it has a lot more going for it. The charger is a "smart" type and will charge unattended, putting into trickle mode when finished which is very efficient. One of the best features in the long term, is that it has a built in cooling fan which will, in effect, prolong the working life of the charger as it never gets hot while working, and that's a big plus.
Overall, very understated charger for what it does and a great purchase.
