I chose these because of the claimed lead diameter, but in the small print on the actual product packaging it explains that the diameter is of the actual alloy/copper combo, and is equivalent in the capacity of the conductor to a much smaller diameter for a copper lead. Shame it didn't say that on the B&Q website product detail before I made the purchase.
