I used this sand a few weeks ago, within a couple of days after a professional pressure wash of my patio. This week I can see weeds coming up in several places between the block paving. Zero marks to Tarmac, I expected better from you.
Great if you need a weed grower

I bought 5 bags "U-Can Weed Free Block Paving Sand 10kg" after I had jet washed and scrubbed to remove old silver sand from my block paved area, as had over the years gathered a few weed and green I seemed a good idea to use this product, from my experience al that has happened is I has help and encouraged weed growth, also after brushing in over several days to remove the excess sand once it rained it has set like concrete, so will have to again jet wash / scrub to remove and replace with more kiln dried sand.
Great product - Does what it says on the bag

Used this sand after laying my block paving instead of the normal kiln dried sand as it had the built in weed control. To date I have not had one weed and it's been 15 months since laying the paving, Now needs a top up so will be using again
Turned blocks white

Bought the Tarmac version of this, one bag OK but second bag turned the paving blocks white and can't get rid of the white. Not impressed. Can't put review against the tarmac product as can't find it on the B&Q site.
