This product has a serious flaw

After 10 days I was still waiting for the tile adhesive to set, I gave up and was forced to lift the tiles, adhesive still wet, nightmare mess and great expense and time to correct avoid!
Fails at both tile adhesive and grout

I have fitted 300 subway tiles in a small downstairs toilet using Mapei Mapegrip ready mixed adhesive with no issues what do ever - unfortunately I ran out with just 25 tiles left to fit. Thinking that the next job is to grout I thought for the sake of 25tiles I’d buy this product and then use it to grout afterwards. Terrible decision.
The tiles I used the adhesive for all needed to be removed as the adhesive is so wet is slumped down behind the tile causing the top of the tile to tip inwards (to note - I had skimmed the walls so there wasn’t an excessive amount of adhesive behind the tile). I ended up buying a small pot of Mapegrip to finish the tile fitting...with great success.
I then thought I’d try it as a grout as maybe it’s better for that job. Once again terrible decision.
The grout did not go off evenly, making it nearly impossible to get a good finish - it’s just too wet to use and get a decent finish. I ended spending hours scraping all the grout out and cleaning the joints to allow me have another go with a BAL product.
In short - utter rubbish, if you have pride in your work - don’t use it.
