Perfect for transforming bathroom on the budget
Moby1112 - 2 months ago
I used both anthracite and white paint.
Both paints require 3 coats rather than two but white did cover slightly better.
I'd say that the tiles need to be really cleaned especially in places where silicone was removed, otherwise the paint will not cover regardless of the number of coats. I ended up spot spraying with aerosol primer in difficult areas and then painting it, which worked perfectly.
The finish is really good and formes a nice waterproof film, very useful in the shower area.
The paint doesn't smell bad and after a few days any smell is gone.
Really good product for transforming the room on a budget.
One piece of advice- buy the 2 litre pot rather than 750ml one. B7Q in their wisdom charge almost twice per litre for the small pot.
EXCELLENT PRODUCT

Have used V33 paint for both kitchen cupboards and tile paint. Cannot recommend the brand enough.
The Shade is dark grey with a hint of blue, it is a lovely shade.
Take time to prep the surface, clean and sugar soap and slightly sand the surface (Tiles is a little harder as it feels like it isn't doing anything)
Would say it is best to use a Foam Roller as it appears the best finish.
The tiles look brand new afterwards with a lovely shine to them.
Purchased the Large Tube and did a small kitchen and bathroom and (2/3) two thirds of a second kitchen. A little goes a long way.
SUPERB PRODUCT ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Wasn't sure how it would work. Needn't have worried it
was fine and the tiles look as good as new. In fact am
about to buy some more to do the kitchen.
horrible colour

looked horrible, the ugliest shade of grey possible, with a shade of blue in it. had to cover with black paint the next day
