Wanted a new look kitchen, on a budget. Was apprehensive about ‘painting’ the cupboards but after a while decided to bite the bullet.
Very glad I did! I used the small diall rollers that are next to the paints in b&q stores. Paint is very easy to apply, I used sugar soap to prep. Very pleased with how the kitchen looks now. Also used v33 tile paint, would reccomend both products! Hope they are as durable as they say! :)
Amazing product, Looks like a new kitchen!

After renovating our whole house, the kitchen was the only room that hadn’t been done, as we didn’t have the funds for a new kitchen. I had toyed with the idea of painting the awful laminated cabinets for a long time but was worried about the possible hazardous results! I came across the v33 paint when searching for a suitable paint for laminate and after reading the fantastic reviews I was sold! I purchased the paint on the Wednesday afternoon and by thurs eve I had finished the whole kitchen with 4 thin coats. I only left around 2 hours between coats as it was completely dry, I checked by pressing my finger into it and it didn’t leave any imprint so figured it was ok to re coat. Bare in mind I did very thin coats! After the first coat it did look very patchy and uneven but I knew to expect this from reading reviews beforehand! After 4 coats it looks absolutely amazing and looks like we’ve had a whole new kitchen! I bought both a mini gloss roller (foamy one) and a mini emulsion roller (fluffy one) as reviews I’d read conflicted on which one left a better finish so I did a test door with both and have to say the gloss roller definitely gave a better finish! My advice is to follow the exact instructions on the tub and also apply in thin coats. Lightly roller any roller marks out as your finishing each section to ensure there’s no roller marks when it dries! I didn’t remove any doors just the handles! One tub was enough for the whole kitchen and I still have half a tub left! I would recommend this paint to anyone it’s fabulous!

I brought this paint to paint my kitchen cabinets, I had sanded the cabinet down and painted the cabinet with a roller. When it dried it dried all runny and had the print of the roller. Not happy with this product at all!

This product has been a success with out kitchen cupboards. We have laminate veneer on the cupboards (pine-ish Color). 3 coats were required to cover (going to white, greys, darker colours may require fewer coats.) Use brush to get into the nooks and crannies and then roller for larger areas. Important to note that many thin coats are better than a few thicker coats. Less chance of pooling. You must also prep your cabinets correctly. Sugar soap solution, then sand, then clean of dust residue. Final point, leave time to cure between coats. This is imperative. Follow these steps and you’ll get a good finish. Cheaper than me buying 25 new kitchen cabinet doors.
It does take time though. 2 litres got me about 6 doors.
Brillant product covers very well
