Strong looks but has failed - poor build quality

Initially this worked well and appeared strong and robust - but it isn't!!!
The metal body has cracked at the base of the hose connector threads (as photo)!!! It now pours water out of that area so is unusable and unrepairable. Metal castings should be much stronger than that! This can only be a design/production fault leaving a weak area that failed.

Disappointed that this gun was not compatible with the Hozelok connector on the end of my hose. However I bought a Verve connector, fitted it to my hose but the performance of the multi function gun was pathetic. I have now reverted to the far superior Hozelok gun.

Had just over a month and valve on back broke off. Doesn't fit with hoselock coupling.
Cant find receipt so cant even take it back.
Utter junk

Old Hozelock gun finally died. . . Saw all metal Verve and thought would perhaps be even better. .Useless Verve . Valve very tight so adjusting force very hard work also tends to make screeching sound and then flow stops . Only works if push hose very hard into Verve head. Also need to be Sumo wrestler to disconnect. . Never again will I believe Verve might just produce a quality product.

Was very happy with the product initially. I found it connected easily with Hozelock products and there was no leaking.
I bought steel as I thought it would be robust/durable, but unfortunately, after 4 months the pressure controller (at top of handle) has broken off, similar to another reviewer, who has included photos.
