Sturdy and good value but tricky to assemble

I wanted a portable hose reel to replace a Hozelock that was awkward to use. Due to Covid, these had been out of stock for a while. Now back in stock (Sept 2020) so I bought one.
Instructions are clear but two observations regarding assembly.
Steps 1 - 4 start the assembly by fitting the wheels. DON'T. You end up with a lightweight frame skating around whilst trying to assemble other parts. My advice would be to start with steps 5 and 6 and to fit the wheels last of all.
If you fit the large 'U' shaped handle (step 7) BEFORE assembling and fitting the drum, the handle means that you can't push the sides apart far enough to locate the drum in place and aligning the centre of the drum with the holes in the side frames. I'd assemble and fit the drum first (steps 8 - 13) BEFORE fitting the top handle.
I followed the instructions and it took a good five minutes plus to put the assembled drum into the frame (step 11) - no joke. It was driving me mad. This loses a star for the frustration encountered.
Otherwise the assemble is straightforward.
Good quality when assembled

I agree that it is not that easy to assemble, but it only took about 20 mins. Need quite a bit of force to "click" the parts together, so I can see why some people found it difficult to assemble. But if it was easy to push together, it would also come apart easily.
Glad I read the comments before purchase and bought two female type hose connectors to connect the assembled reel to the water supply (together with a piece of hose of course).
Replacement hose reel

Needed a new reel - choices were Hozelock or Verve - reviews not too complimentary on the Verve - hose connection rotated on the Hozelock - inspection required - satisfied with construction on both - hose connection on Verve did not rotate - hose can be rebound while pressurised - helps to avoid linking - Verve was the choice - a bonus was the price - under 2/3rds - construction, including changing the hose over - just under half an hour - quality is excellent - no problems with poorly fitting parts as noted by some other reviewers - rewinding hose improved by placing foot on the cross-rail

The cylinder to hold the hose doesn’t fit in properly or clasp together. The “plastic nuts” to hold the wheels in place has no purchase / set the wheels can’t be attached. Plastic tat that would have been “built in China” 25 years ago. Don’t buy..
Impossible to build!!!

The actual reel inside doesn't snap together accurately due to poor manufacturing so the whole thing is useless as it keeps coming apart....
