Reviews
At least I now have impressive biceps
CescaChess - 7 days ago
Had this for around 18 months now.
Pros:
Sturdy poles with good capacity.
The lines are decently spaced so laundry dries quickly.
Cons
It really is a pain to put up and take down. I thought people were exaggerating. I was a fool.
The cover ripped during some strong winds.
Not the best design aesthetically: our version has red plastic tips on the arms, which have faded in the sun.
Eat your Weetabix if you are going to buy this!

Like almost every other review on here the only stumbling block with this rotary dryer is getting it up and down. The only way I can manage it is to put two of the arms on the ground and push like a pushing thing to force the locking mechanism into place and my wife has no chance of putting it up or down. That said once up it's plenty big enough and 4 months in is still fully serviceable with no signs of any wear and tear. Great product but extremely difficult to use.
RUBBISH

Bought this less than 6 months ago. Am a senior citizen on basic pension and can ill afford to have to replace every 4-6months. I have only used once a week and meticulously folded it up and covered every time. Went to hang out some tea towels and the line itself just broke!! Notice that the line is only plastic and has no wire in the centre like they always used to. This has happened, and I should have known better than replace with the same make after having my previous one having the pole bend after only 12 months. Never use a VILEDA AGAIN!!
Unusable

I bought this yesterday and it will be going back tomorrow as it isn't fit for purpose. Totally impossible to push the arms up into place. I'm surprised this is still on sale given all the negative reviews it has had on this site and other retailer sites. I wish I had done some research and read the reviews before purchasing.
Very difficult to open
SuzyDIY - 3 months ago
I've had this washing line a couple of years & thought it was just me finding it hard to get into the slot I have to open it on the pole then take it off & push down on the patio which scuffed the ends! I'm pretty fit use weights & still can't push it up while on the pole. I wish I had taken it back after reading reviews.
