The VitrA optima bath is designed and made with quality in mind. This world leading manufacturer has produced the best quality product at the best price. The best quality lucite acrylic material helps maintain the overall integrity and does not create weak spots during manufacture. The lucite acrylic also protects against longer-term discolouration from UV rays and prolongs the longevity of the bathroom. An integral based board provides extra rigidity which is all important in baths as the weight of the water they have to carry can cause flex within the bath and loosen seals leading to deterioration and worse still leakage from around the bath. This product is pre-drilled with waste and overflow and allows you, or your installer to position and drill taps as required.

Features and benefits
Care must be taken when choosing the right bath. The quality of manufacture is all important with acrylic baths. Too much flex can create many issues and shorten the longevity of the finished room immeasurable. The seal can deteriorate as the bath flexes when the weight of the water is added and then taken away. This can create leakage around the seals and unknown damage in the area's not seen until it is too late. The first signs are often mould build-up around the seals. The VitrA optima bath is made from lucite acrylic. The material stretches more evenly during manufacture and maintains its strength of the material. It also has a rigid baseboard installed in the bottom of the bath adding much strength and rigidity. Care must still be taken to install the bath correctly, as with any bath.
