Great portable induction hob
Great compact induction hob. Bought to tide us over as we got rid of the old gas range and we're not on mains gas. In no rush to finish the kitchen renovations as I like the hob! Most frustrating part is turning it on/off as I have to press quite hard - it may be that my small thumbs aren't covering enough of the surface though. Once on, the temperature controls are easy to use, as is switching between wattage or degrees C. I find I'm cooking on a lower heat whilst I get used to an induction as on a high temperature, I find things easily stick to the pan if I'm not constantly stirring. More than happy with this product.

Disappointingly not robust !
The control panel is decidedly non robust -which doesn't fill you with confidence when using this product -to the extent it needs a redesign or use of better quality parts . Sadly would not recommend !

Good hob, but the buttons aren't the best design.
Cooks very quickly and efficiently. The buttons are not ideal however. The manual and the website could be much clearer that you need to swipe with your thumb or a pair of fingers, rather than press down like a normal button.

I've just moved into a
I've just moved into a 1 bed Retirement Home with small kitchen, no room for full size cooker/oven. This 2 hob table top hob is just perfect. Being portable means I can move it to make room for extra counter dpace when required. Brilliant thank you.

Not as good as I’d hoped
Looks good Quick response but unable to totally control W and C/temp….. eg default W is 1400 - it seems impossible to set lower and put in lower temp- it always jumps back to Max 1400! V annoying. I’ve checked instructions & there is no advice on how to set W & C/temp to settings required…so assume this cannot be done?

Very poor in comparison with a proper induction hob
I've had a "proper" (integrated) induction hob for many years, so plenty of experience with them. We've recently moved to a new place with a gas cooker (which I don't like), and got this as a temporary solution until we redo the kitchen. This is really poor in comparison with the real deal. I mean, it functionally does the job, but its power range is ridiculous. The default is 1400 kW when you turn it on, but (unless you're boiling a pot of water, which is better done in a kettle anyway) you need *at most* the 800 kW setting for cooking. So you have to reduce the power every time, and then you're left with essentially 120 kW, 300 kW, 500 kW as your options for most of the cooking you want to do. That's three heat settings, compared to the 8-10 you have on a normal induction hob. Frustrating as that is, it cooks/heats functionally OK, but then if you try grilling something (800 kW setting, but just oil and meat, and not a boiling liquid) where you need higher temperature, it cuts out with an E5 error ("ceramic plate has overheated"). Unbelievably annoying. As others have said, the fan is really loud; I didn't think it would get to me, but it does (I'd maybe be more forgiving if it cooked well). It just feels cheap and nasty; the plastic construction has a hollow, cheap feel (don't get me wrong it's not super expensive, but still). I just can't recommend this, especially if you know what you're expecting from a proper induction hob.

Random Heating
The heat is all over the place. This product needs calibration. Not possible to cook with heat precisely, or even reasonably. Temperature appears to be totally random from one moment to the next. Will not simmer. All or nothing. Disappointing.
