I have been buying this compost since it was first available and it has typically been okay. I bought a batch recently and it has perhaps 20% stones in it. The rest is poorly filtered twigs and bracken. Not putting this rubbish on my veg plot. Avoid!
Far from sterile

Along with the all-plant version of this compost, quality seems to have gone downhill this year. Absolutely infested with soil mites (they don't damage plants but still) and white mould issue. Also very very fibrous, forming a crust on top when you pot up plants or use as a mulch.

Fibrous compost that looks and feels like it is made up of bark more than compost

Nice texture, suited to all veg - potatoes, beans, peas etc and tomato plants. Just add appropriate fertilizer and also liquid seaweed and you'll have good strong crops.
