Blocks odours brilliantly

I bought this product to cover the damp and mouldy smell of the Valspar Ultra Basecoat I’d done my hallway in.
It flew on, dried quickly and is now almost completely odourless an hour later.
This is a great, great product.
Bin the rest this is best

Started to decorate one of my bedrooms and decided to really give it the works. Stripped it back and as there was a little damp in one of the corners looked for something to put on as a primer. Decided on this after checking reviews on here and other sites.
This stuff is the bizz. Love it. A word of warning it pours if using a roller as I did like milk so be careful. Has the colour of cream. I would advise using a short pile roller with this stuff and be prepared. You must work quickly and don't be too fussy.
Overall I am very happy and will be using zinsser again as I'm on to the hall next. By the way I'm a working guy but not a painter or decorator so this is my review on how it worked for me. One final thing it's says hazardous on the label for a reason so open the windows when using this stuff I also wore a mask.
Covers melamine surfaces

Used this to prime some hideous, but functional, melamine wardrobes. Once done I wallpapered them and this stuff allowed the glue to sick. Like previous reviewer says, it’s a bit like glue - copydex springs to mind- and looks very patchy and streaky. BUT it’s primer and so is covered over. It’s brilliant in my opinion.
Go to problem surface primer

A great primer for finishes that are difficult to repaint e.g. varnish, washable paint etc.
It is easy to apply but you can't work it around like other paint as the alcohol base soon dries out and it gets thick very quickly - you soon learn a technique though, but keep the layer even and dont be be too fussy about what it looks like. Ive used this time and time again.
This Stuff Works!

Bought this after six coats of emulsion failed to cover up old water damaged paintwork. One coat of this sorted it.
And it smells good too!
