Step 1 - Visit store
Take your key to the nearest B&Q store with a My Key Cutting Machine.
Place your key in the scanner of the machine and shut the door.
Step 2 - Scan your key
The scan will take about 30 seconds.
Once its scanned, just choose the number of keys you need.
Step 3 - Pay
Use your contactless card or cash to pay at the key cutting machine and your key will be cut inside the machine in under 3 minutes.

How much does it cost to cut a key at B&Q?
An individual key cut costs £7.00. The 3 for 2 promotion applies to any three keys cut in the same transaction for £14.00.
How long does it take to cut a key in-store?
The whole process takes under 3 minutes to cut one key from start to finish.
Do you need to have an original key to use My Key Cutting Machine?
As long as you have a working key, My Key Cutting Machine should be able to cut a new one for you.
If I have any issues with my newly cut key, what should I do?
Please contact 0333 577 3033, note this number is manned 8.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday and voicemails cleared three times a day over weekends. Please ensure you leave a voicemail if the line is busy to ensure the team can call you back.

Unfortunately not. You will need an actual key to scan and cut a new one with My Key Cutting Machine.
