About the store 

Based in Gallagher Retail Park, Scunthorpe’s local B&Q store has been serving the local community since 2002. The DIY shop offers a wide range of services including in-store planning appointments. 

There is a garden centre where you can stock up on seeds, plants, and even new garden furniture. And if you’re renovating indoors, there are several kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom displays to get you inspired.

What’s in the local area? 

Dubbed the “Industrial Garden Town”, Scunthorpe is the ceremonial county of Lincolnshire and the UK’s largest steel processing centre. With a population of more than 80,000, the industrial town is Lincolnshire’s third most-populous area after Lincoln and Grimsby. Several large retail parks serve the town, with a wide selection of cafes, restaurants, and shops. 

How do you find the store? 

By car 

If you’re coming from Scunthorpe, follow Doncaster Road to Gallagher Retail Park. Continue on the A18 until you reach Gallagher Retail Park. Once you get to Gallagher Retail Park, take the third exit at both roundabouts and then turn right. Continue straight ahead, passing Aldi, and proceed towards the car park that is closest to B&Q.

By bus 

To get to B&Q Scunthorpe by bus, several options are available based on your location. If you are near Scunthorpe, bus services 1, 1A, and 7 are frequently available. Alternatively, if you are near Goole, you can use bus 360 or 361. Once on the bus, get off at the Tesco stop. From there, you will need to take a short two-minute walk to reach the B&Q store.

By train 

The nearest train station is Scunthorpe Train Station on Station Road. You’ll need to take a bus or catch a taxi to get to B&Q.
