Lathes
Lathes are machines that allow you to create circular objects out of either wood or metal. The material you are working with is fixed securely into a large chuck, which then rotates at very high speeds. Using various cutting tools such a lathe chisel, the material is then carefully shaped to size. Wood lathes are key to any woodworking shop, offering a platform of creativity to make items such as bowls, spindles, handles and other decorative ornaments.
