I have been using this for over a year now with no issues. Yes the installation is a bit fiddly but my only real issue is the boost/advance function which isn't easy to locate unless you have already had a good look before and remember exactly what button it is. My wife has insist I replace it with a product that has an easy to find boost and I have sourced a well reviewed product elsewhere.

Maybe for emergency use but not recommended

The timer works & is relatively easy to install. However it has some basic design flaws. The LCD doesn't have back light so if you put this in a dark, airing cupboard you really, really struggle to see the digits on it. If you shine a torch on it, it's still very difficult to read.
Ours recently stopped working and it was only when I took it out I could clearly see the digits and the time was wrong on it.
If you need something, and this is to hand, then I'd probably go with it. Otherwise, spend the extra and go for something with a big display & light on it so you can read it clearly in dark airing cupboards.

What a waste of time

Wish I had read reviews first, wired in by an electrician, failed on day 2, this will now cost me time and money to replace. What a piece of junk.

Bought this a month ago and was concerned about some of the poor reviews, I found it so simple to install & set up the timers and it has performed faultless. Really impressed with it and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Another triumph of design

Having to use a magnifying glass to see the tiny display made it a pig to set up. Then it came to a halt after a few months; power in, nothing out... re-set then re set up, nothing ! Re-mounted the old mechanical timer it replaced ( because it was making funny noises ) but at least it works.
