Bought a bracket fixing kit and ended up using-none of it. The drill bit would not cut brick and simply got absurdly hot(borrowed an 8mm but to make the hole which worked in the same drill and settings I had tried for the kit equivalent ) and the wall plugs were too small for an 8mm hole and would not support even a light test weight hardly the heavy duty it claims. I would request B&Q stock a moderately more expensive option that actually works.

Bought the kit a few weeks ago to secure 2 (plantopia) wall planters. The great thing is that you don't have to search for the right size drill bit, plugs etc., they are all included, so it was very straight forward to fix. Drilled the holes to the correct depth, put in the plugs and screwed in the wall planters, took less than five minutes.
Wall planters filled with compost and plants, securely fixed. Maybe a little more expensive than if you bought the components separately, but then you'd have to buy larger packs, and if this is all you need then cost effective.
