sanding susie - 2 months ago
I bought this product in November 2020. It worked OK for a week or so but then, as mentioned in other reviews, the velcro began to fail. I was sanding 3 doors and a handrail for a project. One day it just stopped working altogether. I returned it to B&Q and got a full refund.I would not buy this product again for reasons of poor quality and lack of reliability.
Nice lightweight, quiet sander with dust box
Tzimi - 3 months ago
I bought this sander to replace my ageing store own-brand one, which wasn't gripping the sanding sheets very well. The first thing I noticed was the velcro on the sander- at first, I thought it was missing, as the pad was much too smooth! It must be a modified version, because it actually grips the sandpaper sheets very well. I noticed as soon as I started using it that it's much quieter than my old sander, and lighter. It's also more comfortable to grip. The dust extraction box does work, although inevitably it can't remove all of the dust generated. The Universal Fit sanding sheets sold by B&Q fir the sander fine, and the holes match up perfectly. So far I've only used this for sanding plaster using No.40 coarse sanding sheets, and it's worked very well. So far, the velcro hasn't lost its stickiness, which is a good sign.
Brilliant little sander

I brought this to sand upcycled furniture and I'm delighted with it. Easy to setup and use, it's brilliant for detailing. Pleased with the sand pads but, you will need additional quite quickly.
Definitely worth the money and a great addition to my tool kit.

Recently purchased this to sand down garden furniture and for general woodwork products. Have always been against buying "big brand" names but on this occasion I remain humble. Ideal for light, medium jobs.
Well worth the money
Does the job i needed it for.
