Reduces branches and leaves for easy disposal.
I bought this product as I was clearing out some trees and bushes at my house. I chops everything OK although not as small as I was expecting. It does not shred as such, and leaves go through pretty well unchanged, but it does reduce the bulk, ready for the bin collection. You can easily place in black bags, as the branches will no longer poke through the plastic.

Excellent.
This shredder is the business, but don't try to put too much green through it in one go. Otherwise fantastic.

Excellent shredded, a real workhorse.
A very impressive shredder. This is not a wood chipper, but I have been amazed at the amount of brambles, small branches and other woody bits in the garden that I have been able to shred in to small bits that I now use on the garden flower beds to help to keep weeds in check. So far, the shredder has been totally reliable and has taken all that I have thrown at it in its stride. Very happy to recommend this garden shredder.

Best shredder
Wanted a shredder for ages but was reluctant to spend a lot of money on one because most shredders I’ve used in the past struggle to shred anything bigger than 10mm. This one however is brilliant. I looked at reviews and video reviews and decided to spend over £350 on this and it’s absolutely the best diy shredder I’ve come across. It’s quiet, powerful, easy to move and easy to clear when it gets clogged up.

A mistake?
So far we’ve not been impressed compared to my (very) old one. It wouldn’t shred leylandii cuttings- but that’s understandable. Yesterday tried forsythia clippings and it stripped off the leaves but didn’t cut the stems. Will leave them to dry out and see if that makes any difference. If I can review again in a couple of months the review might be different but right now it seems a complete waste of money.

Works as expected
I had one of the small Bosch shredders and abused it horribly until finally I broke it. I have a bigger garden and needed something that would chop up larger branches. This one does it well and can handle 40mm+ mature wood. Seems to be pretty well built - the wheels make it manageable to move around, but be aware it's not easy to lift up steps due to the size and weight. Overall very pleased.

Work better than expected
I have shredded about 10 box loads of reasonably dry hardwood of all thicknesses that fit the shredder (0.5cm to 3cm). It works well and fast without jamming. Much better than my previous similar Bosch model which didn't have the turbine design. The shredder is quite narrow and wheels ok if you don't go too fast so I wont bother to pack it into its box after every use. Would recommend without hesitation.

Great shredder
Easy to assemble and works well. I've used it to shred hedge trimmings (laurel, holly, aucuba, pyracantha) and the smaller branches (up to about 25mm) from tree pollarding/trimming (sycamore, oak). Gets blocked when there's a lot of foliage on its own, but mixing the foliage with the more woody stems/branches works well. And it's easy to unblock if need be. Plenty of power and not too noisy. Overall happy with it so far.
