Features and benefits

At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

  • Great coverage in just one coat, saving you time and money
  • We recommend using a one coat roller for optimal application
  • For best results follow the instructions on the tin carefully, a second coat may be required if overpainting a darker colour with a lighter top coat
  • Control air pollutants by choosing products with lower solvent levels.
  • Great coverage in just one coat, saving you time and money

The worst results from this paint when you see the tin/ website colour and what you paint, they are so vastly different. It was almost white by the time it dried out. Was painting over something and as we did the paint looked white. No hint of green/blue at all.

Duck Egg????

This isn’t Duck Egg, but Mint Green. As it turns out it doesn’t matter that much because it still looks really nice in my kitchen, but slightly disappointed still

Terrible finish.

Three coats and I'm still not happy with the finish of this premium, one-coat paint. First time I haven't used one of the main brands. Never again. Useless.

appalling quality

Wish I could give 0 stars! Bought this paint as we liked the pale minty colour (not sure "Duck egg" is an appropriate description) to paint a small bedroom to become the nursery. After 2 coats it was very patchy - awful coverage - despite being informed by our decorator that 2.5L would be plenty for a room of this size, obviously he was referring to good quality paint! We purchased a second tub and began to add another coat only to find this is a completely different shade, about 3 shades darker than the original and not the colour we wanted! We are now left with a half finished bedroom, carpet fitters had to be re-booked and we are considerably out of pocket after paying for a decorator to paint the room which has been left unfinished due to ridiculously poor product quality and inconsistent paint colours! Totally awful, will never buy from the Colours range of paints again - you get what you pay for and this really isnt worth saving a few ££.
