Terrible
The worst eggshell paint I have ever used. Despite good preparation, this paint just did not cover. total waste of money. In future I will be sticking to a well known brand and know that I will get excellent results.

Heartbroken that this is discontinued
This is the perfect paint for woodwork in a period house. We've used it for years and so sad that we now have to try and find a replacement. The finish is lovely and matt and the colour itself very clean, bright and neutral in tone - but without the modern harshness of brilliant white.

Acceptable considering cost, but could be better
I applied 2 coats of Diall Quick Drying primer to hardwood plywood, followed by 2 coats of this Eggshell top coat. Light sanding in between to de-nib. Opacity is ok, coverage at 2 coats was sufficient for my needs (and time available), but I would recommend 3 coats for complete coverage. It's touch dry in about 45 mins, but the recommended 12 hr re-coat time is a joke. 2 coats in a day is possible if you plan it correctly, but it's a lot of down time for a supposedly quick drying product. Equivalent Dulux QD Eggshell has a 6 hr re-coat time.

Good Product
Used this for painting kitchen cupboard doors. We took the doors off and lay them flat, the paint covered well, gave a smooth, even finish and dried quickly. Was applied with a brush. The paint has dried to a hard, scrubable finish and has not chipped. It touches up well, where I scratched a door with the rivet on my Jeans. The doors were new MDF, previously painted, badly, by a professional with a roller. He used Veltspar paint, it was terrible, holding drips and stains, it just wouldn't clean. We used this paint, did it for a fraction of the price he was charging and are extremely happy with the result. My advice is to take the doors off, lay flat, 2 coats and leave to dry overnight. Just do 2 or 3 at a time and it takes no effort.

Awful
I have always used eggshell when doing skirting, doors etc and never had a problem before. This paint is terrible coverage is awful on third coat and all woodwork was prepped before hand e.g sanded down. I would never buy this again waste of my money time and effort. Would of been better sticking to my usual brand and not trying to save a few pennies.

Lovely piant
This is nice to paint with and leaves a nice finish more matte than a shine but looks lovely and there's virtually no smell.

Antique white - wood/metal paint
Only 4* as we've yet to experience it. Looks good so far

Poor quality and coverage
I purchased this paint on recents toon of B&Q paint adviser to paint my bedroom wardrobes (previously painted two or three times). Coverage was poor and quality questionable. Very disappointed.

Eggshell Paint
I've used this paint to refresh some very tired looking furniture and am very pleased with my results. I've not used eggshell finish paint before so don't know how it will last in the long term but it was very easy to use and certainly dried very quickly.

No great features
Bought this for a vintage look for a bedroom woodwork. Wish I'd never bothered. After 5 coats it still didn't cover the silver underneath, even after sanding. Not worth the money.
