Product Information

This emulsion paint is suitable for and covers 12m² per litre on average.

  • Make sure all surfaces are completely clean & dry. Repair damaged or cracked walls with a filler & remove loose or flaking paint. Special care must be taken during sanding or stripping the surfaces which may be painted in past with lead containing paints. Gently stir the paint if the surface liquid is visible. Apply thin coats of paint by using a brush, roller or paint pad at an ambient temperature between 10 & 30°C. If the paint is drying too quickly dilute with a little clean water. More than one coat may be required. Full opacity will be achieved when the paint is completely dry but ensure good ventilation during application & drying

Bought to repaint an interior ceiling after a roof leak. This stuff is terrible. Looks to be about 90% water. Took four coats and could do with another at least. Save your money and buy something better quality.

Disappointing quality

Have previously used B&Q brand gloss paint with no issues so decided to try it. This paint however is terrible. Far too thin, poor coverage and prone to drip. This is not good value and should be avoided. I will be replacing the paint with a different brand and will think twice about B&Q brands in future.

Terrible

Usually use dulux but have used b&q colour range before and figured as it was pure white it would be fine, it’s the worst paint I’ve ever used, drips everywhere too watery and coverage isn’t great, I’ve given up and will have to re paint with a different paint another day, can’t believe just how bad it is, will be throwing practically a full tin out !!

Absolute garbage! 0/5 stars!!

I am so surprised to see positive reviews for this paint. I bought this as previously used the same brand ONE COAT white emulsion & I was extremely happy with it. However couldn't see that in the shop so went for this. I painted lounge ceiling two coats. Without seeing ceiling in day light I painted walls. Well what a patchy mess my ceiling looks now I can see it in day light. I gave it a third coat with a brush rather than roller & it still looks patchy. I think I need to get a refund as half 5 litre pot is now going to waste rather than use on my spare room ceiling as I can't face painting it 3 or 4 times! Feel really bad posting this review as everything else I've had from B+Q (and it's a lot lately decorating) has been great.

Great Buy

Bought this paint as a first coat after replastering. Very surprised at how well it covered in one coat. Mind you had to mix really well, used a drill mixer. Would recommend the brilliant white Matt.
