Had this installed by a plumber. Really pleased it. Very nice and stylish. Soft close rim and lid. 4 and 6 ltr flush. Nice and quiet. Flushes really well and does not splash. Nice ceramic vitreous material. We had this about 4 weeks now and we have no complaints about it. Good price compared to other famous brands.

Excellent to replace old low level wc

Scoured the internet to find this as I needed a replacement for an old low level wc in a 70s house with vertical soil pipe. Most close coupled toilets would leave a big gap between the cistern and the wall but looking at the diagram on website I noticed that this has a much larger than usual distance from waste to wall. My plumber used a connector pipe and now I have modern toilet that is virtually flush to wall with no boxing in needed.

Looks good but a lot of patience needed

I bought this toilet as I needed 230mm from outlet pipe to the wall many others only have 130mm. And I did like the modern look. The cistern has to be bolted to the pan using long bolts and dome washers to try to stop them leaking. As instructed I installed the bolts and rubber washers tighten up as much as possible then stood the cistern in the sink to check for leaks, glad I did because the dome washers do not seal properly so I used a well known sealant on them this did the trick. (Fernox LS-X)
Next problem was that the doughnut washer is way to thick to allow the cistern to sit on the pan. (A custom doughnut washer is really needed to be provided to make the job easier). I bought a new one from B and Q and had to slice the top 5mm off it this then seals ok and allows the cistern to sit on the pan correctly. Great so now its all bolted together but in this position you can not attach the flexible inlet pipe so make sure you do it before bolting together.
I also found it beneficial to use nuts on the cistern to pan bolts instead of the wing nuts provided, nuts with a box spanner are so much easier to tighten in such a restricted area.
The FluidMaster equipment supplied that make the cistern work is a really good job easy to fit and works wonderfully. The seat is also good but the metal seat fixing covers come of very easily.

Well its now all in and working, comfy to sit on flushes well and looks good so overall I am pleased but it is not easy to get it all installed and water tight.

Super toilet but they've skimped on fittings!

Pool on the floor - 3 years ago

Super, ultra modern toilet and cistern - exactly what we wanted. Now it's in it looks fantastic Fitted it myself. If you are tempted to buy one of these for goodness sake DO NOT USE the outlet seal provided with the toilet - it's absolutely rubbish and clearly not fit for purpose. Save yourself lots of time and leakage by visiting the plumbing aisle in B&Q and buying an outlet seal - they are very cheap! Which is odd really, as when I'm spending hundreds of pounds on sanitary ware I expect the little, cheap things to be just right. Shame!

Great product but some details can be refined.

I bought this last Monday because it had a big spigot to wall distance and it was delivered on Saturday which is quick!

Got it installed yesterday to replace an old unit in the cloak room. It works great! The water flushes powerfully and cistern fills up quickly. However, I quickly discovered that the cistern is leaking. Water comes through the screws which fix the bottom of cistern on the pan . We had to drain the cistern and then apply silicone around the screw to seal it. The provided metal washer and rubber shoes do not seal the screw properly. - This should have been mentioned in the instruction sheet to save a second job. I would also suggest to use proper water proof screws in the future.

Hopefully it will not leak again.

And, for the soft closing seat, the stainless steel covers for the fixing do not seem to be able to stay where they should be. As soon as you wipe them, they move away! Is it right?
