The cabinet is made of very precisely engineered parts and when assembled looks fantastic. The all-over silver finish is great presentation, makes me want to fill it with expensive products! The fittings, in particular the hinges with their ease of attachment and soft-close feature are all good quality. The build sequence, being all pictorial for obvious language reasons is fair, but I understand how it makes it difficult to indicate the best time to remove the protective film: apart from the door hinge and handle fitting areas I was able to leave it to after installation to avoid the possibility of scratches. Points that should perhaps be considered are: The shelves are cut much too tight a fit in the plastic retainers (which are mass produced and probably dont have the quality control of thickness needed at this level of precision). I had to remove the doors again (not difficult) and slide the glass shelves into their clips sideways with considerable (and slightly scary) force. They were never going to pass down into the clips as designed. Also just two shelves is really mean in a 900 mm high cabinet. An exclamation icon appears a few times in the instructions, but it isn't always clear what its exclaiming about? The suspension plate fixing screw location dimensions are shown against a pencil outline of the cabinet; what a fluffy notion, the cabinet is 600 wide and the distance between the inner screws is 472mm, why not say so and let DIYers measure it up with a ruler rather than needing to offer up the cabinet? Step 14, the fitting of the hinge plates to the sides of the cabinet could be executed on the sides before assembly, rather than the more fiddly prospect of fitting them to the cabinet once on the wall, the added weight increment when lifting the carcass into place on its suspension plates would be minimal. Its a real shame that the anonimity of the doors (which will be left and which right) is preserved by not pre-drilling for the handles. I marked up, centre-punched and pilot drilled for the handle fixing screws to minimise distortion of the foil surface. After the event I wondered if the design couldn't be marginally modified to present a small drop of door below the bottom of the cabinet to act as pulls and so do away with the slightly less elegant handles completely. I understand this is a newish product and we can but hope that some of this feedback (especially about shelves!) helps improve it for future owners. All-in-all a very nice try, and streets better than many others.

Nice cabinet but shelves don't fit

Bought this cabinet in store. Relatively easy to put together main part of cabinet and to mount it on the wall. However the shelves don't quite fit. Very frustrating at this stage to have a lovely looking cabinet with no shelves.

Very Shiny

Good Cabinet, reasonably easy to put together and hang. Shelves can be difficult to get in and I would recommend fitting them before putting the doors on, we did manage putting them in after but would have been alot easier before. Looks nice. Would be a lot better if it came with more shelves.

No problems putting together and fixing. Unfortunately slight scratches under protective film on doors. B&Q immediately replaced.

A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING

The fittings which fix the back panel to the frame caused deflection in both, making the shelves impossible to fit. After removing the fittings the frame lost some rigidity, but the shelves could be fitted.
