Toilet Not Rite Good....
As a whole the toilet looks great. Howerver it doesnt function well. As previous reviews say there is a huge ledge to the front of the toilet that a lot of your no.2's will slide down and leave marks. This is made even worse if you have young children as the whole poo will sit on the shelf rather than the water. I droped mine whilst fitting it and damaged it. I was very upset when it happened but when I realised the issues, it became the best thing I ever did and did not feel bad replcing it.

Serina
I have had this toilet for about 2 months and it is appalling. The flush does not go all the way round the rim so some areas of the bowl are not washed. The u-bend is too small for anything but no.1s. I have just had to unblock it for the umpteenth time and it took 6 flushes with vigorous use of the toilet brush. DO NOT under any circumstances buy this toilet. The designer of this has clearly never used it else they would have changed it before selling it. How this toilet passed any kind of design check is beyond belief. I will be looking at getting a new toilet but will NOT be using B & Q.

Pretty sure this item is not fit for purpose
Aesthetically as decent as any loo. Practically this is not of merchantable quality. The flush cannot cope with solids unless you happen to possess an ability to "make stool" without the need for paperwork after the event. Then of course the design means that your efforts don't "plop" into the water so much as sliver gracelessly down the porcelain into the water. I notice that this review system allows me to add a photograph but trust me, that is not necessary and would be vile. The other reviewers say that you need a good loo brush, you do. Probably bleach and rubber gloves too. Words fail me - this is a TERRIBLE product. I've had to replace the bath I bought from B&Q and now this loo is being removed too. Buy cheap, pay twice. That said, the replacement is second hand and costs a fraction of what I paid

The Shelf Issue
Having not read the reviews I purchased this to match the sink for my old style bathroom. The problem is that this is the only 'oldy worldy' toilet so I had to go with it. It looks good but there is the poo shelf problem. Marks are always left which results in the toilet brush being used after every No 2, which, on reflection isn't always a bad thing.

Awful design
This has to be the worst toilet on the market. Can’t believe anyone Is rating it more than 1 star and I never usually review anything. I felt, after having this product installed, that I had to write a review as it is so awful. The positioning of the hole means that poo gets left on the bend and sides. No more needs saying. Just don’t buy one or you’ll regret it. I am having to have it taken out and replaced.

Faulty flusher
Nice looking toilet, very reasonably priced, but after my plumber had installed it, he couldn't stop it flushing, so he has to buy another flusher unit to go in the cistern and come back next week to fit it and test it again. All of which adds to the cost.

Avoid!!!
Not fit for purpose. Flushed 8 times to flush a solid and didn't remove it. Had to break it up by hand! Still having the same problem. Contacted the supplier who contacted B&Q and I was told it must be an installation problem. Had sent them photos and a video. Have asked them to send a plumber to inspect the installation and waiting on a reply. Avoid buying this product.

Love the appearance of it hate how messy it gets
I bought this with the matching basin a few weeks ago in the bank holiday sale. The price was excellent and the delivery was on time and the drivers polite and friendly. I love the retro look of the set, and the two pieces suit my flat completely. BUT due to the shape of the pan some solids tend to end up on the sloping area in front of the water rather than in the water - even if you "aim" carefully! They flush away perfectly but always leave skid marks on the pan. I have to clean away mess daily. If you had a whole family using this toilet it would get very dirty indeed I suspect. I now wish I had bought a different style, but was seduced into a hasty purchase by the excellent bank holiday bargain price and the fact that my very old toilet was suddenly broken and leaking all over the floor.
