Nice colour but requires several coats

I’ve painted a new tool store that hasn’t been painted before, so was a blank canvas. A litre was just enough to give two coats, and it’s a shame there wasn’t a larger litre option for this colour as it’s bright and fun. As previous reviews have mentioned, it’s very thin in viscosity compared to other exterior paint finishes, so be aware not to get too much on your brush and put a dust sheet down around the area you’re painting.
If you’ve got wood that has already been painted before, you’ll probably need at least three if not four coats. I will likely have to buy another litre just to add a third coat to my tool shed, which as mentioned hadn’t been painted before, so again if Cuprinol did a 1.5 or 2 litre option this would’ve been a saving both financially and environmentally to reduce waste.
Overall though I’m happy with the outcome, but would’ve preferred the paint not to be as watery. I’ve used Cuprinol before for other exterior wood and they’re the best compared to other brands I’ve tried.
Great colour but not thick

I bought this paint as we loved the colour and wanted to update the old shed that looked tired.
We read the tin, was shocked when we opened it to see how watery the paint is, it drips everywhere even after we gave it a stir.
Weve given it one coat so far it will need two or more as the old colour is coming thro but once done it will look lovely.
Its brightened the garden up so far, could do with a bigger sized tin as it doesnt cover alot so far weve gone thro 4 tins will need more.
Picture is after 1 coat of paint.
not great value

I think the Johnstone's lagoon splash at other similar products offer much better value and much the same colour. I've used xxxs before and that has lasted well - yet to see how this cuprinol lasts.
Everything else is dull in comparison!

I did one coat and then a few touch ups, amazing coverage.

I bought this a few weeks ago and used it on my garden gate and bench it really brightens up the garden. I also used sea grass for the fence and I must say it's a real eyechacher would definitely recommend this product.
