Cuprinol Less Mess

Applied this paint during lockdown onto garden shed and to extensive area of wooden railings (all had already been painted in the past). Looked very good after 2 coat application but after 5 months, these areas definitely need another coat - or perhaps should spend more and buy a product that will last the course.

I liked this product as it was easy to apply and non-drip. The application on rough saw cut wood will take a bit more paint though.

This product is great but don't expect it to cover in one coat cause it can take 2 or 3 coats. That is on our fence
Not bad but certainly not "one coat" as it say

I used this on a moderately rough garden fence which had not previously been treated or painted.
The Cuprinol fence care says on the tin that it is One Coat but it is much too thin for that. Also with the first coat it is very susceptible to lapping ie where some of the paint has dried quickly the adjoining painting can over lap and is much darker.
So after the second coat the results are much better and quite presentable.
Considering the paint is quite cheap I do not consider the second coat to be unreasonable.
Even quite expensive and higher quality paints like Ronseal Garden paint (which is really good) requires two coats to cover what ever is below.
Only time will tell how it weathers over the years but considering the fence had no previous treatment what it has now should give it many more years of service.
So Cuprinol Fence Care? It is a two coater, it coverage (per coat) is pretty much what it says on the tin and for the money it is good enough.
