A waste of time.

Should have read the review first maybe ok for smoothing. But not for getting the sealant off so once I get the old sealant off, I might find a use for it.
This tool needs a guard on the blade!

I bought this as I have used similar before. Whilst trying to remove stubborn silicone I accidentally put my small finger into the hole with the blade and took the top off my finger. A simple detachable guard would be easy to make and prevent a painful mishap. I hate to think of a child getting hold of it!

Bought this as the property I've just moved into has some pretty bad sealant around the windows. Whilst some just pulled off, other bits were harder so wanted to try this. It didn't work at all and ended up just using a knife from my kitchen. Then when applying the new sealant, the other tool didn't work so ended up using my fingers to get a better (not great, but better) finish than this tool.
Don't waste your money on this, absolutely pointless.
as a sealant remover its a good paint stirrer.

The end snapped off after less that 10 minutes light use. Achieved partial removal of 2 ft silicon bath sealant. Items like this could be expected out of a Christmas cracker. Avoid.
Wrong colour plastic

Bought before I read these reviews, totally agree, leaving black marks, needs to be white plastic and blunt very quick. Went back to a stanley scraper..
