The scraper/remover only lasts 5 minutes. The tip needs to be metal as plastic get blunt way to quickly.
The finishing tool on the other hand is great. Lots of inter changeable head that give a super neat finish.

Pretty pleased with this, better than others I have purchased in the past. Always worth buying more than one as in general they can go blunt fairly quickly. Works best if you have used a silicone remover gel first. Watch out for the sharp blade within the handle (for cutting the end of cartridges) when you open the pack. I managed to cut my finger on it!

Used to clear the silicon from the shower tray prior to resealing. Worked well enough but was blunt by the end. Really only a one use item, but suppose it being plastic prevents damage to the shower tray or tiles that a blade may have caused. Still, only £2,so not too expensive for single use.
Does the job But?

I bought this to remove silicon around a window frame, kitchen sink and bathroom sink. With the help of spraying the old silicon with WD40 to break down the enzymes and leaving it 15 minutes the tool worked well BUT it was almost worn out when i finished the job as it is plastic when it comes to the edges of the tiles it leaves the point blunt. Probably worth £2 as a throw away item.
