Dulux Easycare Kitchen Timeless Matt Emulsion paint, 2.5L
This emulsion paint is suitable for and covers up to 13 m² per litre on average.
- Suitable for Ceilings & walls
Features and benefits
This emulsion is a tough, grease and stain resistant paint. Its grease proof formulation resists everyday cooking stains, and it's washable without the colour fading, so even the busiest kitchen walls and ceilings will stand the test of time. At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

Bought for kitchen renovation. Done the job perfectly
Nice consistency, inaccurate colour swatch.

Nice and thick, covered blackboard paint in two coats which I was impressed with. Don't know how it wears in yet but seems like it will do well. Only downside is that the colour implied on the tin is really nothing like the colour you get (will teach me for not doing testers). It is BARELY a shade more creamy than the brilliant white emulsion on the kitchen walls previously. Does have a slightly nicer warmer tone (but very hard to notice. You are pretty much getting a very basic white paint with this colour).
Boring matt white paint

I bought the Dulux Timeless paint a month ago for my kitchen after doing lots of research as to the best paint for kitchens. I painted the walls yesterday and am very disappointed as it looks like a boring matt white paint (and pretty much the same colour as the brilliant white on the ceiling) and just looks unfinished. I didn't realise it was matt (the easycare range seems to be matt for the kitchen and soft sheen for the bathroom for some reason) but bought it because of so many good reviews but I would definitely not recommend it. I would have given one star as I am so disappointed but gave two as the paint itself is good quality, nice and thick and goes a long way. I am now looking for a satin sheen colour to replace and repaint!

The colour is what you get - a very subtle, "Antique White" colour. You can't actually tell with the naked eye that it's not white unless you're painting on a white undercoat; you can see the difference then.
You need to read the instructions - mix it thoroughly before use. It is worth adding 5-10% water to the mix if you're at all unsure about the consistency of it - it doesn't degrade the paint much at all.
Needs 2-3 coats but it's well worth the effort - good coverage, washable, really appealing matt finish to it. The quality of the paint stands out like a sore thumb when compared to a normal Dulux matt emulsion (that we have elsewhere).
Highly recommended; just read the instructions before use and you won't regret picking this up.
This paint is pure white

I have painted all my house now with the timeless dulux. It's a lovely warm white in all my bedrooms and hall. I bought the timeless bathroom for my bathroom and again a lovely warm white. I bought and have just finished my kitchen with the timeless but it is definitely a pure white as no difference at all to the pure white I already have on the walls and ceiling. I'm looking at other reviews and notice that other customers have said the same. It is an excellent paint and would give 5 stars for all other rooms but the kitchen paint isn't the colour it says it is therefore giving it a 3 star.
