Features and Benefits

This matt emulsion comes in a selection of subtle shades that are inspired by nature and designed to bring a touch of colour to your room. At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

Dulux, as ever, is a good brand and I've used it on many occasions. This time was a classic case of 'should have tried a test pot first'. Used this to redecorate our downstairs cloakroom after having super-white loo and basin fitted. I would normally trust a shade card or image on the tin and expect to get a shade that is darker in reality - this usually works for me. The paint is described as white with a hint of jade (which is normally accepted as greenish). This shade looked nothing like either shade card or example on the tin and was more like a pale blue than a whitish green. I had hoped to see very, very pale green that looked almost white but got blue with a deeper level of tint than would be expected of a 'white with'. End result is acceptable although not as hoped for but can't fault the basic quality of emulsion, still needed three coats for a decent coverage despite covering a pale cream. Dulux stick with vinyl bases but another brand sold by B&Q is an acrylic (it's the one that they can mix for you) and its coverage is just fantastic having used it a couple of times - I'll go with that brand next time.

Good quality paint

I bought enough for two coats over a white base and had to buy a second because the first two coats did not cover at all. The second can was much thicker and I have no explanation but have written to the manufacturer for their opinions.
Maybe a customer bought back the paint and watered it down to make up for the stolen paint.
Not a B & Q problem. .

Great Coverage

We were painting over a nasty creamy-yellow silk paint(on artex) and on first application I thought that a second coat would be needed but apart from the odd crevice where the roller had missed and brush marks near the ceiling I was surprised that the paint dried and gave a great cover.
Would definately buy again
