Dulux Once Pure brilliant white Satinwood Metal & wood paint, 0.75L
This Pure brilliant white satinwood wood & metal paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply 1 coat with a brush or roller and leave for 16 hours to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers up to 12 m² per litre on average.
- Use a clean and good-quality brush. Apply a thick even coat of paint taking care not to spread it too far. Failure to do so may require a second coat, particularly when painting over a darker colour with a lighter topcoat. Leave a minimum of 16 hours between coats
- Suitable for Metal & wood
- Not quick dry
- Remove flaking or defective paint and sand down the surface to remove any sheen. Refer to health, safety and environmental information. Make sure the surface is clean (no dirt or grease) and dry
Features and benefits
At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.
- Great coverage in just one coat, saving you time and money
- We recommend using a one coat roller for optimal application
- For best results follow the instructions on the tin carefully, a second coat may be required if overpainting a darker colour with a lighter top coat

It stinks, it’s a nightmare to clean up your brushes even with the right products, it needs MORE than one coat otherwise streaky, and the VOC content is super high so basically, couldn’t be worse.

Old fashioned (and not very eco friendly) paint which cover well but not really one coat. Two coats with a delicate swipe with a 200 grit paper in between gives beautiful finish (wait a month and the glossy finish mellows to a satin). A bit smelly for a few days. You'll need turp substitute or other brush cleaner (again not very ecologically sound).
Terrible, Terrible, Terrible

We’ve done plenty of upcycling of furniture and house decorating over the years.
This is without a doubt one of the worst paints I have ever used. Do not waste your money on this, you’re better off spending a little more now as you’ll end up needing to buy a better product to cover up the mess this disaster leaves behind.
Awful awful paint

Bought this to paint my stairs. As someone else said it's like painting with water, which means it goes everywhere and is near enough impossible to clean off. It stinks and it dries streaky. Avoid.
Wait till fully dry!!

I tried Dulux Diamond trade satinwood but it was like water & didn't cover even after two coats so I returned to this. Don't panic as it does look initially like gloss but after a few days it settles down. I first used it last October & it hasn't gone yellow. It covers really well but two thin coats are better than just one thick coat. It's best as if applied too thickly it can leave drips here & there. It does take a while to dry but I love that you can't see brush marks at all. Overall I'm pleased with the result. I think it has a nice finish not too flat & not too shiny either.
