- Not quick dry
- Remove flaking or defective paint and sand down the surface to remove any sheen. Refer to health, safety and environmental information. Make sure the surface is clean (no dirt or grease) and dry
Features and benefits
At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.
- Great coverage in just one coat, saving you time and money
- We recommend using a one coat roller for optimal application
- For best results follow the instructions on the tin carefully, a second coat may be required if overpainting a darker colour with a lighter top coat

I've used Dulux one coat gloss lots of times, and it's really good.
I like a satin finish, so made a change, what a mistake. It's so runny that it gathers in pools at the base of the skirting board regardless how little I apply. Thank goodness we're replacing our flooring too, as it has been ruined.
I used 'Timeless' but not on the site

I have used satinwood many time over the years and always found it gave a good finish with a soft lustre. This stuff is just like white gloss. The spec says it is not non drip and that is an understatement - it is very runny.
Strangely, this is not listed on the B&Q website.
No problem exchanging it at the store, but had to go for the water based option.
Not a 'Omce' option but nice to use

My paint job - skirting and cupboard doors- did need two coats to do a good job but the paint was nice to use, spread easily and looks great.

I bought this tin with the ideea that I will only paint it "once". After more about 20 hours it was not fully dried and on here it sais 16 hours. I choose the roller and not the brush as I didn't want any marks but still some light drips. After 36 hours it still easily be scratched off with your nail. Rubish, Dulux is loosing a lot becaise of that!
Great to use.

Dulux Once paint is easy to use and provides excellent coverage. When buying topcoat paint, i.e. satinwood, gloss etc., always check the back of the tin to see how to wash your brushes. If the instructions say that you can wash your brushes in water then forget it - its hopeless. Dulux Once paint advises that you clean your brushes in paint brush cleaner or white spirit. This is the best paint to use.
