Dulux Once Pure brilliant white Satinwood Metal & wood paint, 0.75L
This Pure brilliant white satinwood wood & metal paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply 1 coat with a brush or roller and leave for 16 hours to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers up to 12 m² per litre on average.
- Use a clean and good-quality brush. Apply a thick even coat of paint taking care not to spread it too far. Failure to do so may require a second coat, particularly when painting over a darker colour with a lighter topcoat. Leave a minimum of 16 hours between coats
- Suitable for Metal & wood
- Not quick dry
- Remove flaking or defective paint and sand down the surface to remove any sheen. Refer to health, safety and environmental information. Make sure the surface is clean (no dirt or grease) and dry
Features and benefits
At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.
- Great coverage in just one coat, saving you time and money
- We recommend using a one coat roller for optimal application
- For best results follow the instructions on the tin carefully, a second coat may be required if overpainting a darker colour with a lighter top coat

Horrific - Gloss, not Satinwood. Runs everywhere
Alison P - 5 days ago
Spent all day painting a kitchen ceiling and some vertical T&G cladding. Kept having to brush over the vertical surface as the paint kept running. Today after drying, it is a shiny high gloss, with lots of runs. It looks cheap and not the finish of a satinwood. I am now going to have to spend several more days sanding out all the runs, and now undercoating and painting in an actual satinwood. This has cost me a fairly expensive tin of paint plus several extra days of labour. Extremely disappointed!!!!
Nice to work with

It’s more of gloss than satin for me - but it’s easier to work with than gloss and it not overly shiny - it’s great - I’m going to do all my wood in this - it’s easy to use and easy to clean - I’m finding the satin I originally used is quite mat in comparison and dirt and dust is almost sticks to it.

Much too shiny for satinwood and you need at least two, if not three coating. The smell is very strong. 16h drying time is not enough at all. We waited two days until it passed the finger nail test. Overall not a product I d buy again. Waste of money.
Runs faster than Usain Bolt

Bought to do skirtings, sills and a door. To be fair I mini rolled the door and it went on ok but trying to brush the skirtings was a nightmare, forever going back and rebrushing the runs. I normally use Dulux trade satinwood and would highly recommend buying that paint instead, I wish I had!!

Worst paint I ever bought from a reputable seller Not a good buy just goodbye good money. Wasn't satin but gloss and not one but numerous coats.
