An MCB is also known as Miniature Circuit Breaker. It is a vital part of a system to protect from electrical current damage from short circuits. They work by cutting power once a network overload is noticed until it can be assessed. They are used in systems which have their dedicated circuits such as electric showers and upstairs lights.
