I have been a painter for forty years and as such think silicone is a painters nightmare, I use this putty to form a nice neat edge to paint to.
Anyone who thinks you can use it to replace glazing beads is kidding there selves, it is ideal for filling cracks in old hard putty and fine cracks in wood etc.

Works well, easy to apply, dries fast!

Bought to fill small gaps between the wood and the window on old windows I was renovating. Easy to get the putty into the small gaps as it is in a tube, easy to work with and dried ready for painting in a day.

Give me putty in a tub anytime

I am by no means a complete novice when repairing putty around window frames & decided to give this product a go. As previous reviews have stated the putty is so soft when it comes out of the tube which makes it really difficult to work with. Got in a complete mess & will have to redo frames again. Wish i'd stuck to using putty in a tub.

not impressed

I bought this a few weeks ago to seal some timber beading around my double glazed conservatory. It doesn't stick well to the glass and isn't as easy to work with as ordinary putty. I wouldn't buy it again.

worked as expected

Found this easy to use as a first timer uses a 'gun' I used it to replace a pane of glass but also to fill hairline cracks in my wall and ceiling as recommended to me by a builder. It worked well, much better than polyfilla as you can wipe it smooth so little rubbing down needed.
Mine certainly wasn't runny as previous reviewers had said it did the job at a reasonable price.
