Product information

Farrow & Ball Estate emulsion paint is a sophisticated choice for interior walls and ceilings – this tin covers up to 35m² per 2.5 litres on average.

  • Surface Preparation - All surfaces to be painted must be sound, clean, dry and well prepared. The correct farrow, ball primer and undercoat should be used before the topcoat is applied
  • Instructions for Use - Stir contents well before use & apply 2 topcoats.

Features and benefits

  • Farrow & Ball's signature, chalky matt finish, 2% sheen
  • Eco-friendly emulsion paint with zero VOC content
  • Wipeable and child safe
  • Water-based and low odour
  • Quick drying
  • We want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you

Tester

Tester for bedroom. Lovely colour but not the one I then used.

Why use any other make of paint

Cord is a beautifully warm colour in our hall stairs and landing. Used with matchstick on ceiling and white tie on woodwork as recommended on your web site. Just perfect I love it.

Great paint; terrible service

Always the best paint, but sadly we were badly let down by Farrow and Ball this time having paid for next day delivery. 10 days later we are still awaiting our paint and communication from those we have tried to contact about this has been very poor indeed.

Timeless colour

I painted the renovated kitchen of our 155 year old house with Cord 17 years ago and every time of think of changing it I can never find any colour I love better! I paired it with White Tie. It's a dead on match with our natural cherry cabinets that have deepened in rich colour over the years.

One of the very best

One of my favourite ever F&B colours. We've just painted our whole cottage in this with Matchstick on the ceilings and coving and Green Smoke on the woodwork. Before, the whole thing was ghastly brilliant white. Now it's transformed into a warm, welcoming and stylish home. For those who fear it may be too dark - don't be afraid! It is fabulous!

Disappointed

A good quality paint which will last 15 years on the walls it was enough for. Unfortunately the company were unable to supply me with a single litre pot of paint which would have finished the job.
